GO... make a difference
Home Missions
Our Home Missions Team goal is to reach out into our community and show the love of God through giving and service. This includes the Backpack Ministry at Nebo Elementary, Paulding Community Christmas and much more.
Foreign Missions
Pleasant Grove supports local, national and foreign missions. We support missionaries in places such as Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
Pleasant Grove Mission Efforts
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse that collects shoe box gifts filled with all kinds of items like school supplies, hygiene items & toys and delivers them to children in need around the world. It is a great opportunity to share God's love with children around the world and to make a positive impact on their lives.
Christmas @ the Grove
Christmas @ the Grove is a community event focused on showing the love of God to families in need. We will host families for a day of fun, games and snacks for the kids while the parents will receive Christmas gifts for their children. Each family will also receive a box of food. And Santa will be here to visit with the children.
Pre-registration is required.
C.W. Hoy
Mexico for Christ
On a trip to Central America in 1974, C.W. Hoy was called directly by God to “Come and love My people,” and that is exactly what he did. Within two months of God’s call, he and his wife, Patsy, had sold all their possessions and headed to Central America with nothing more than an old Dodge Van and a few clothes. Their ministry started in Guatemala and eventually lead to the mountain people of Mexico where he still trains others to teach and preach the Gospel and annually provides tons of food for the hungry. Now, 47 years later, at 88 years old, he is still loving and caring and teaching those he calls “the forgotten people of Mexico.”
Good Samaritan Missions Honduras & Nicaragua
Good Samaritan Baptist Mission was founded in 1968 by Missionary Bob and Joan Tyson after traveling to Nicaragua to follow the Calling that God had given them to be Missionaries. Today, there are over 200 Churches, 5 Christian Schools, 9 Radio Stations, 30 Feeding Centers and hundreds of Employees in Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Adams Family for Christ
Honduras
We are eager to embark on a journey of healing with the people of Honduras through implementing Celebrate Recovery, a Christ centered recovery program. This tool will enable the people to express their hurts, habits and hang-ups in a judgement free zone, leading to biblical healing God's way...through JESUS CHRIST. It also shares the gospel to show people saving faith is in JESUS alone...our primary goal.

House of Today Ministries Honduras
We have accepted the challenge to live out a life to help the youth of Honduras by partnering with them together to live out Matthew 28:19. Making disciples and teaching them to go out and disciple others. Showing the youth of Honduras how to pray, study the Bible, lead worship music and share the gospel with their own families and community.
